Muri ( മുറി ) in Malayalam refers to one of several parts that fit in with each other to create a whole - a slice of something bigger. It’s most commonly used in context of space - like a room, in your home - a slice of your space, that is the backdrop to your everyday life; every slice setting a different tone to the mundane and significant moments.
