Minimal Classicism or Gandhian Chic

Not only we swoon at their collections, Raw Mango has opened a new store in New Delhi that is in itself, to die for. They were featured in a recent issue of Architectural Digest. (Check out the link to swoon at their space.)

3 things that stand out in and we love about this space -

SIMPLICITY
This one’s hard to miss. There is a zen-ness to the whole space and Manju Sara Rajan refers to Raw Mango’s style as Gandhian Chic. It’s impossible to imagine the bustle of people shopping here. But we still think it’ll be the perfect setting to browse through their beautiful sarees and lehengas.

OLD-WORLD CHARM
The property was designed by their in-house design team and speaks their design language throughout. Since we are suckers for the old world and its charms, we were bowled over just looking at the glass and voile cupboards. One can imagine what would have happened if we got a glimpse of the lovely clothes in there.

HERITAGE & HISTORY
Keeping in line with their choice of sites for the previous stores, the one in New Delhi too is a historic building. It feels like you will step back in time once you walk into this space. It has been treated with great respect and quite a few historic decor pieces scattered all around.
